NGM and Google Earth
National Geographic has developed a new and exciting vehicle for engaging learners. It has linked much of its Africa archives to 3-D satellite imagery from Google Earth. You can find Google Earth at http://earth.google.com. Here you’ll view the planet from space, zoom in on the African continent, then select the yellow rectangles to link to National Geographic articles, images, and online features that go back as far as the first magazine article on the continent in 1889.
