This is way to scary with all the recalls. I've been checking the site daily to make sure nothing I feed the dogs is on it.

Watching Planet Earth, guess we only get 2 hrs. tonight. Did my running around and housework, now I'm too tired to start tomorrows work so guess I'll just have to do it all tomorrow.  Looks pretty at the wh. Would look even more pretty with a bunch of critters around it.

Karen, Thank you so much for the update. I had some of the dog treats in the draw and just threw them out. The Pounce is ok but I am going to withhold it until I hear more. Tomorrow is vet day for one of the labs. They called me on Sat to remind me of the appt and told me that there have been several "suspect" cases of illness due to the food. Now I am really concerned. I have been giving those dog treats for some time now.

Thank you for these updates. I can't say how much I appreciate them. This is just so frustrating. You never know if your cat food is going to be next on the list. I read this morning that cats are more susceptible to the melamine than dogs. As pet owners, what do we do when the food we feed are animals could kill them?

Don't give up on Simba.  I had a cat that disappeared for 6 months, then shortly before she reappeared there was a strange cat that started showing up in front of my house in the morning, just sitting there staring at the house.  I'd talk to it, and it never came to me and never came up on the steps.  Just every morning for about 2 months, it would be in the same spot each morning and then it would leave.  Then one day the strange cat didn't show up & the day after that, my missing cat showed up...a little worse for wear, thinner with bird-shot in her side (which the Vet said would be better left alone).  She never disappeared again - and lived to a ripe old, old age. I loved her very much.  I love all my critters!

I've got some work to do, so I'm gonna log off for awhile & be back later.  I'll look for all your wonderful pics & do-dads...you are so talented.

I have two other cats besides these guys. There is Little Bit, our only female. She doesn't know that she is a cat. She thinks she's human. We keep her separated from the boys for fear she will hurt them or they will hurt her. She's a lot older than they are and set in her ways. Then there's Blackie. He lives on the patio and is very anti-social with anything else. He got to the point where he didn't even like his brothers, Klondike and Simba. Klondike got sick last summer and two days later he was gone. Simba disappeared last month. I just hope he found a good home somewhere. Each cat is very different, but I love them all.

It's really pretty watching the clouds float by - full moon - there should be more activity.

I've cut my hair off & now have my summertime-do.  Actually, it's a lil' bit shorter than I'd planned, but it's hard to see without my glasses on & my hair grows fast, so it'll be okay.

I see 4EE has gone to dreamland - have I missed anything besides our ghost-like hippo?  I noticed that there was something back in that area much earlier, but it was smaller.
