Ahhh, ok - that's understandable.  I was really looking for a cruise with my grandaughter and just did a bit of exploring both Alaska and Hawaii.  Hawaii is 15 days rounndtrip and a bit more expensive but not that much when you consider no airfare.

I don't have RP here at work and they really frown on us loading stuff on "their" equipment--so that is probably why I keep experiencing a problem.

I just looked at the Princess site and they don't have a ship embarking from L.A. this year; at least not one that I could find.  There is a roundtrip San Francisco but it doesn't go into Glacier Bay.  Perhaps another cruise line might but I haven't looked further at this point.

I knew there was something wrong.  I kept checking the countdown and you weren't going there!  Your going to laugh at me but all I could picture, is you lying at the bottom of those bloody stairs with a broken foot or some other such nonsense!  I was very relieved when you showed up, even briefly.  Ended up with a house full of company yesterday along with the grandkids.  Went and bought Johnny Reb's for dinner and just had a great time.

sounds like it si raining this morning. So something is hitting the camera cover. The big wildebeest sounds like he is calling all his girls to him, oh and now I see why!!

Hi everyone, there is a most peace view at the WH today. The zebra are nuzzling, we have one that is nursing. The impala are grazing and the wildebeest are laying around resting.

That is quite a larg foal nursing, almost as big as momma.

That sure was a short rain they just got. Was just thinking no animals would show up, then the rain stopped so maybe they will start coming soon. Looks like nobody else is on tonight, or else they're lurking maybe. I should be paying bills but my eyes won't focus on numbers tonight. Yes, those Snow Leopards have been on the endangered list for years. They're really pretty with all that heavy coat.  Watched a special on Asiatic lions a few days ago and tonight saw that a bunch of them are being poached now so they are also in danger of becoming extinct.  Must be hard to catch enough food to raise a family in those mountains. It's not like there is a lot of different prey hanging around on those cliffs and the ones that do are very good at running on them.

I'm so sleepy right now, can hardly keep my eyes open. I don't dare try to sleep now though or I'd wake up in an hour and never fall asleep again all night long. I think the paint company guy is coming over tomorrow sometime to bring some paint samples to toss on my house so I can see what colors I want.  I'm really excited to see the house newly painted because I hate its current color.

Oh, Boo, I totally agree!! Sam is one of my favorite characters in the movies!! He is so cute ... and clumsy ... and just saves the day in the end!!

Someone (I think it was Dee??? ... or Lap???) and me too, had heard on last weeks "Planet" that one of the cats portrayed are thought to have only 40 remaining in the wild!! I watched that particular episode again and found that it was the Amor (sp??) Leopard!! It lives on mts (don't remember which right now, senior moment) and in snow!! Mind boggling that there are only that few left!! So sad!!
