Patty in MD:
They've been doing some nice close-ups ... oh...well there's a close up something I didn't need to see . Bottom picking...ugh...oh well, it's a gorilla thing! LOL!
He's just so darn cute!
It's a bright clear crisp morning here in MD. The WH has been a little busy this morning (er...afternoon). Beasties lying about, terrapin sunning, impala grunting off in the distance and a giraffe payed a visit for a quick drink. This one looked darker than some of the ones I've seen at the WH and had a patch on his neck where it looked like there was no hair.
Djuma cam is down for me. The gorillas looked like they were having their afternoon siesta, the eagles are not on their nest yet.

Track of a bull elephant about 20-24 years old and about 3 and a half tons. Peter outlined the print. The top part is the elephants back foot stepping on the print of the front foot as he walked. Peter said that its called registering.Thinks that the elles are coming back and we may be able to see some soon.
Here is the snake skin that Pieter showed us last night. He thinks that is a meter long and said that it well be the skin of a spitting cobra. He also mentioned boonslange but really thought that it is cobra
