Ya Carmen I always thought you were behind alot of those Not Specified messages, I just hope you didn't write the really nasty ones.
I don't have to hide behind a "Not Specified" to write my messages. There have been times when I forget to include my name...I have always corrected that.
I am not ashamed to say what I think...you clearly are...under your name. Wanting to point to some one else? I am sure it is you that stirs up trouble every time the forum has settled down. And the forum follows...how sad.
Bringing up some criticism does not mean that the person does not appreciate the cam or the cam operators. A lot of people here are confusing these two issues.
My comments have been polite, you however need some education (anonymous remarks are rude).
A lot of good people have left because there is no restrain in the forum. One "negative" (as you call it) message is always followed by nasty remarks, calling names and asking that person to leave. There is only one person that can do that, and that is John Kondis.
I for one am very sad to see this behaviour over and over again. I wish that persons like Jayell would come back.
Carmen
I agree with you, Carmen. There have been a couple of times that I have wanted to make a suggestion that might have been construed as a "negative" comment, but I have been too scared to post it. I think I did make one comment that I thought was very polite, but I was squashed like a bug. I, too, want Jayelle back. I loved her humor, her knowledge and her personality. We all have different personalities, which makes for a nice mix for a forum. But we have to accept other's suggestions as their feelings/viewpoints we all don't have to agree) and move on. That is if they are not rude with their posts. Otherwise, ignore them and move on. That's what I'm trying to do.
I realize that I will probably be way out of the same posts, but my computer seems to be very slow in getting my posts online. Plus, I type slowly and constantly correct my typos. It's been a long time since I retired.
I love it when the cam operators are here and there is activity at the pond. Earlier today was a great example of wonderful pond experiences. I hope the sunrise in a couple of hours will bring us Pondies more Botswanan nature, along with G&G, the spoonbill, the weavers and all the other birds that we have seen, turtles, etc. I love all that I can get to see.
Now I'm going to go watch some TV and eat something. I'll be back in a couple of hours for more of Pete's Pond live streaming video that has transported me to the Hide, without all the bugs, heat, etc.
