Boo, I am sooo glad that you solved the problem!! That makes you a 'techie'!!! LOL!!! I was trying things as I was thinking about your problem and got mine stuck in the 'either full screen or mini' mode!! Gave me fits and I kept clicking on things until it came back!! PHEW!! Scared me there for a while!!

Lady, did you get yours working too??

I had both of those turned on (and off again), made no difference. What I did though was restart my computer and after I went back in to MP I was able to double click on the small window a couple times and it finally gave me the screen I could resize myself. Whew - I hate these nagging little problems!

I hear you there, LOL!!! I am seriously considering getting another monitor or even better, a laptop when I get my income tax return back!! Haven't decided if I want to put siding on the garage or get another 'gadget', heehee!!! I'll give you one guess about which one will win that battle, LOL!!!

It's been stormy most of the day there. Lost feed for a while...thunder...rain...we had a quick visit from the King and that was it. Nothing but little sparrows and plovers. The falcons haven't even come back yet (still hoping they'll visit though!).

Different strokes for sure! I have so many cameras up at times I get lost! LOL!

It is recommended that you turn on both Fit Video to Player on Resize and Fit Player to Video on Start. The following table explains how these two settings interact with one another.
Fit Video to Player on Resize / Fit Player to Video on StartDescription
On/OnThis is the recommended configuration. Windows Media Player automatically resizes to show the video at the best size (or the video size percentage that you specified). In addition, the Player automatically resizes the video when you manually resize the Player.
On/OffThe video resizes to fit the dimensions of the Player. If you have specified a video size percentage, such as 200%, that setting is ignored.
Off/OnThe Player resizes when you start playing a video; however, resizing the Player has no effect on the video dimensions (other than cropping the video if the Player is smaller than the video). If you have specified a video size percentage, such as 200%, the Player resizes as necessary to fit the specified video size percentage.
Off/OffThe video is resized to fit the specified video size percentage (if the dimensions of the Player are large enough to fit the video at the specified video size percentage), or the video is cropped (if the dimensions of the Player are too small to fit the video at the specified video size percentage). Resizing the Player has no effect on the dimensions of the video (other than cropping the video if the Player is smaller than the video).
    Hope this helps.

Hi Linj! Guess it may be what you view in...I don't view in the full mode, all that stuff just gets in my way...I view in the skin mode and can drag to whatever size I need/want it to be.

Really quiet with the rain at the WH...forum has been pretty quiet today/night too.

Hi Patty!! Yes, it must have been quiet ... it only took me about 10 mins to catch up from this am!! WOW!! Kinda like at the pond when it rained, huh!!

When I view in full mode, I then drag it down to my size and it seems to work for me!! I also do not keep it on top all of the time, in case I need the rp up too!! Then I can just click between the two of them if I need the 'junk' thingys, LOL!!! Whatever works for whomever, works for me!! What was that old song?? Oh yeah, different strokes for different folks!! I just thought that might have something to do with why they couldn't drag the sides!! Maybe you are right!! It very well might have something to do with the version!!

Boo, right click on the top part of the frame and go to ABOUT...should tell you what version you are working with.

Boo, just wondering, do you have it maximized? You can't resize if it's maximized.

You got me Patty. I went into properties and it doesn't give me a version oddly enough, so I have no idea. I've only had this laptop for about 5 months though, and it automatically does updates to the media player.

Yep, it already had the black bullet in front of it. Any other suggestions? I'll try anything.

Hi all!! Just for grins and giggles, try right clicking on top frame to bring up 'View'!! Check to make sure that you still have a large black bullet in front of 'full mode'!! Try it and see if it is the problem!!

Hi Patty, Rita, sb, Shar and anyone else that I might have forgotten!! Sorry, memory is very good .... just really short anymore, lol!!!

Boo, can't you size the screen like you can with RP, just drag the bottom right corner?

Patty, after your suggestion, I tried it and  - NOPE - pulling on corners does not work.

Boo, Patty, excuse me for jumping into this conversation but we share the same problem. Hope we can share the solution.

Nope, didn't work. I drug it from the side but even though I can get a screen size that's close to what I want that way, it also increases the right margin which is all white. It's frustrating!

Is anybody an expert on WMP? I had the perfect size screen at one time, and now I can't get that size back. It went to full screen and when I click the button to reduce size it goes to a teeny weenie screen. I can't find any options in the menus anywhere to choose the size I want. The 200%, 100% and 50% options under video didn't give me the size I used to have. Help!

Same problem with my WMP. WMP came through with an update and the full screen was it. I do not like it either. I like the option of going to a full screen when I want to. I have not found an answer to this problem. Too bad we can't remove this "update" and go back to what we had. How do we do that?

Good morning from a rainy Nkorho! After the extreme heat of the last two days this change in weather is quite nice. Just hope it doesn't keep the animals away. Would love to see an elephant again. The lions are still around somewhere behind the lodge, so they might come to the pan during the day. I will be leaving for town soon and will return tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful day with great viewing!!

The open area is in front of the lodge - north. The Kruger park is about 900 metres east of the lodge - when the camera pans to the right(behind the tree). When the camera is on the lodge it is facing south. Hope this can be of help.
