Patty,..Not fair..!  Why can't i do something like that Fatty montage..?  When i try anything like a montage it either comes out like checkerboard squares,..or more like kidnappers ransom note using cut outs from magazines..!

Julie, does your daughter remember getting on a plane and the men putting their weapons in a hammock thing before sitting down? That was you right?...It was a while back but that story stuck in MY mind.   Pie maybe I'm a little psycho but far from psychic....waitimg for the critter I missed to post

that trip was just me, and other ladies of the Intl Womens Club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. a week in Yemen, early 80s. 12th century by day, 20th centrury by night in an Inter-Continental Hotel. My pix are all film & my scanner broke. Will try to find some of the sights we saw on Google. That was a trip!

BTW, I was the lucky one on my trip with my daughter. No experience matches being alone with a young adult daughter on an adventure. My kknowledge, her fresh, innocent perspective.

Julie, what a good pyramid adventure and story!  By the way, back a few days ago when we were talking about Riyadh I said that my Dad came back in '96. What a doof I am. He probably overlapped with you and your husband because he was there '80 - '86 not '96. He was building a school. He told a story that they build to accommodate for the once a century flood and wouldn't you know it it flooded while he was there.

Hi! As you can see by the picture, I have way too much time on my hands. I am tired of cold, snow and ice. Here is the Termite Mound Family Vacation.

Lucky i stayed for a little while longer,..'coz look [or squint at] what came along around midnight.Africam time..

Jackal came up along the Beach side, then to the Wallow and then back around the Beach for a furtive drink..You could just see him/her at the Wallow..

And there it is at the Beach..

     Image hosting by TinyPic

Then it was scared off by three little critters strolling along the Promenade..

White tailed Mongoose..? There was 3,but this was the clearest shot i got of one..Looked like Honey Badger though..?

People look at everything! I was helping my nephew buy a house in Lansing, he was in tenneese..well I went to the house inspection and hung out with the realtor..since I wasn't buying and the house inspectors were busy that broad and I checked it all. She showed me tricks..like looking in their fridge to see what the eat and how clean they kept it..we looked through their clothes and in drawers at family pictures..you can learn a lot !!! It wasn't right but rather a hoot!! So yes, people look at everything...worse than yardsalers that want to see what is in the house they might want to buy..never have another yardsale!!!

How are those bears? Do they still cuddle with the stick or did they get bored with it? I s'pose they are still snoozing. I've been pretty busy so I haven't peeked in at them.
