    Beautiful Day! September 13, 2007...

We have another couple of days with the seals and so far it appears that the weather is cooperating as is the seal population as you can see.  Quite a change from July 13 in Karens pictures below.  Sounds this morning that the seals and birds are all saying, "Farewell - hope to see you all in a couple of months."  It also looks like one of those birds laid a special "gift" on the side of the camera window.  Embarrassed

    Re: Seals, pups and birds

I've tried to save pics even with the PAUSING of it first before doing so. When I do this after I attempt to save it it just shows everything I've taken a picture of with the PRINT SCREEN KEY but the video area I have paused that I want the picture of is BLACKENED? Any other tips for this ? Thank you

    Mr Moose Lives On

Moose will always be a part of us regardless of circumstances or locations.  Kakadu may be the best place to hide away - especially if the Kakadu Cam continues to operate as before;  hide in plain sight.   Big Smile

Well, I think you are correct that the Eagle cam would be more peaceful!  Not sure Mr Moose could get up in the nest real well but the bears surely couldn't!  Mom and Dad Eagle probably wouldn't take too kindly to a moose loose in the hoose though.

    Re: Seals

I watch them often but the nioses they make gets kind of tedious..Kemoose should hide out at the eagle cam ..it's all peaceful and quite there..no arp arp arp!!!

    Seals

The beach and weather looks beautiful today and the seals seem to be enjoying it.  Not sure if I could tell the difference between seals liking or not liking the day but I think they are liking it.

Is this where Mr Moose might be hiding from the grizzlies?

    ok,i see,i am on a PC,but i don't know if i can do it,the print screen is defaillant.

Sorry,i don't speak english very well,i am french.

    Thank you ^^

If just using the Print Scrn by itself is not working, try just clicking on the picture you want to take. Then hit the Alt key and Print Scrn at the same time. See if that works.... Just keep asking....I'll try my best to understand you. I had a little bit of French in High School, but that was 40 years ago and I have forgotten most of it.

Can you go to the Pete's Pond forum and see if all of us together may be able to help more? Here is the addy. Just click on this and it will take you there. All nice people to talk to.....

    Re: Seals, pups and birds

If  you are on a PC and are watching in RealPlayer (rp), Pause rp; print screen (next to your f12); go into paint- edit - paste; file - save as; file - open (get the pic you just saved by double click on it); outline pic you want by selecting the little dotted box in the upper left corner of paint (ie click on it) - then click on upper left corner of pic and hold and drag outline to lower right corner and release; edit - copy; file - new; edit - paste; file - save as (give new name).

I think that is it in a nutshell. Then upload to photobucket, tiny pic, or wherever.  Then you can copy the URL from there and post it here or in an email.

If you are on a Mac, I don't know how to help you.

Let us know if this works.... you might want to come over to the Pete's Pond forum where we are all hanging out to ask questions. We will see them much quicker and be able to help you there. Here is the addy for the Sightings and Sounds thread where we are:

Beautiful pictures but today all I get is a green screen with sound.  Don't know why.  It is 2:00pm CDT on Sunday afternoon in US and no picture.
