Afke, can you tell if she is nursing?

Am I the only one whose picture is completely out of focus?  I don't see anyone else with this problem.  I however am not having the problem with the picture size.  My comes through every time at 1X.

My 2x to 1x buttons... are working.

 

I discovered my 2X and 1X buttons are working as well.  It seems to be as Carmen described. The 1X setting is now what used to be the 2X setting. 

 

That's the same change for me.  The 2x is now throwing the video into full screen view and the 1x is what used to be the 2x or approx. half my computer screen.  Both still seem to be much grainier than prior to the change.

I've figured how to resize by "manually" downsizing the window (using my mouse to shrink the window edge), but the 2x to 1x buttons are no longer functional.  Is this a cost-saving situation?  Too bad that both sound and picture quality will not be up to prior situation.

No Lisa, this is NOT a cost-saving situation.  They are trying to upgrade the quality of the image, hence a new video card.  Either it is the wrong card or they have to sort things out. (which Afke tried to do for a long while, did not succeed and could not reach anyone to help her out).  Hopefully tomorrow, at some point, it will be better :)

When I first signed in, I came in through the NG main page, as I usually do.  The cam seemed to be moving very fast and the picture seemed a bit blurry to me.  So I switched to RP, which came up the usual size (about 1/4 of my monitor screen) and seems much clearer.  Sounds seem fine too.  Haven't seen anything  moving...no critters on the premises at the moment, apparently...so it's hard to see if the clarity is as good as it was before Pete put the new video disc in, though.  Guess we'll be able to tell when the sun rises.  :>D

The large screen that you get when you open RP is 100% !!!  Apparently the new video card is set (?) to a very low resolution (higher resolution, smaller screen).  The only thing you can do is resize your RP to something between 25 and 75%...it all depends on your (computer) resolution too.  Resizing you RP screen to a smaller size will also give you a slightly better quality (you will see less pixels)..  The video card not only affects the image but the sound too...I think.

That's funny...I woke up middle of the night and checked out the cam briefly. Then when I started it this morning the picture was big. I thought that I must have done that last night! I guess I wasn't that out of it.  I rode my bike 64 miles yesterday with a lot of major "up" and I was so  tired I thought I must have been messing around with the cam and didn't remember:))

Now...as for the cam image...seems a little strange this morning. I can't tell if it is the sun or something else. Seems less smoothe on the pan too
